I’ve always liked Betty White too – even more after she gave a talk where I worked and I got to meet her afterwards. I think the character she played on The Golden Girls had to have been modeled after her – she was just the same in person! One of her passions is animals – she is very active with animal rescue organizations – she was able to have that written in for her character on the show as well.

There have actually been THREE shows called “The Betty White Show.” None made a splash, unfortch. I’m uber-excited about the SNL episode.

Fabulous! I adore Betty White. When I was a kid we were forbidden to watch the Golden Girls. Naturally, we did anyway.
