Just found you and love the blog. Ive been happily surprised at the similar interests. We just adopted 2 dogs in the last year after being dogless for about 10years. My heart goes out to you for Odie; my 12 year old border collie, Fly, is resting next to me and I panic and tear up when I think about the day she will also die. I've tried to comfort myself by kidding my DH by saying he'll have to give me a baby when Fly dies, but then he agrees with me that we'll have to fill the void with someone we will love in a whole new way.
