We’ve rearranged our apartment yet again, and now we’re in need of a basic rug for the living room — maybe made of rope? — and a wing chair for the parlor. This beauty, made to look like a “classic 1930s Parisian leather club chair” (according to Crate and Barrel), is composed of hair-on-hide leather. I lust for this chair. I guess I really love Western style? I can’t think of a word to possibly describe my apartment’s decor, and I think I’m going to need one very soon. “Timeless”? Eh. “The opposite of mid-century modern”? “Old stuff”?
Ah, I’ll think on it. For now, I’ll just continue to drool over this chair while Garth Algar blares in my head: “Stop torturing yourself, man! You’ll never afford it! Live in the now!” Sigh.
