So I too have been looking at those lamps — which ones did you end up with: the slate or luster? If slate, what’s the light like? I can so see that one in my living room. Love the organic shape of those lamps.

ah! you flipped the switch. happy you are happy. i feel like those might be leather knife sharpening deals? for really big knives. maybe try an oversized embroidery hoop for the same look? that is what i have hanging on my living room wall — dark brown ovals and circles. it’s fun and not fussy.
