great photos. i am totally the crazy animal person that leaves scolding notes for people who leave dogs in cars on hot days.

Oh… these photos are gut-wrenching. I have a bad habit of stopping to talk to dogs left in cars. My husband thinks I’m a bit nutty, but I just feel so badly for them.

Strangely, as a child I used to love to be in the car alone. Often preferring to stay in the car while my mother ran errands… but then, I loved to read. It was a good excuse to crack open a book.

I feel so similarly. Dogs were the animals that introduced me to my own compassion and love for animals. It has changed they way I look at animals in general and effects me everyday… the food I eat, the clothes I wear. I dream of a little cabin one day with a herd of dogs, cats and goats!!

This project is so interesting- I often think about how dogs can feel lonely and as a dog lover it’s the main reason I haven’t got one myself (I would hate to leave it home alone all day while at work)
