I saw an interview with her and Sean in which he noted that she will not allow him to get a tattoo. She said that she didn't want him to regret it when he got older. So she is multifaceted -- surprising and difficult and brave and unique -- a product of her time and culture, as are we all. It’s true that she is all those things, and yet in some respects she is almost comfortingly conventional.
