You know I love me some hair art, so when I first caught sight of Alice Anderson’s odd puppet photography (demonic angel over the shoulder?) and suffocating web of copper tresses — well, it made me race here to post it, actually. It was kind of like the feeling you get when you’re in a thrift store and spot a rack of perfect coats being wheeled out from the back. You have to subtly plan your attack without attracting attention.
It’s a great feeling.
I am officially obsessed with Polly Van der Glas’s hair and tooth jewelry. Seriously, that cast braid ring? I’ve put it in my Etsy cart about ten times already. Must.have.immediately. Adding to my want list!
Teeth enmeshed in a bouffant, a floating balloon of fuzz, braid beards: hair through Winnie Truong’s eyes just looks better. (Also, the hairy teeth bouffant reminds me of those weird tumors that have subsumed fetuses, broken off teeth and sweaty hair in them. Eww.)
